- What is Advisor
Gold FLX? Advisor Gold FLX is a 4-line, 80 character
alphanumeric pager. It is capable of receiving up to 30,000
total characters. Advisor Gold FLX uses the latest paging
technology-- FLEXTM. The FLEX technology provides improved
page reliability and 5 times better battery life over existing
pagers.
How many messages
can the Advisor Gold FLX store? Advisor Gold FLX can store
up to 19 personal messages, and up to 15 information services.
In addition, you can store up to 510 notebook entries (255
personal and 255 information service entries).
What is the
Notebook feature? The Notebook in Advisor Gold FLX allows
the user to save personal messages into this special area
of memory. The user may save important information such as
names and phone numbers.
What are Information
Services? The Advisor Gold FLX has the capability to receive
information services. Information services are information
updates such as news, stocks, sports, and weather.
What is the
Message Alarm feature? The Message Alarm feature allows
a user to program the Advisor Gold FLX to alert and redisplay
any message at any time. The user just sets the time and date.
For example, if a user received a message that read, "MEETING
CHANGED TO 3PM", the user could then set that message to alert
& redisplay prior to 3PM.
Does Advisor
Gold FLX have user selectable alerts? Yes. The Advisor
Gold FLX has eight user selectable alerts and the silent vibrate
mode.
How do I enable
the "Battery Gauge" in my Advisor Gold or Advisor Gold FLX?
This is a standard feature. If you don't see it on the main
screen, please contact your service provider for its activation.
The main screen will show a graphic representation of the
pager's battery. Just like a gas tank, the battery gauge will
be solid when the battery is full. As energy drains, the level
will move to the left showing 3/4, 1/2, 1/4 and low.
How do I enable
the "Key Click" in my Advisor Gold or Advisor Gold FLX?
You need to contact your service provider to enable this optional
feature. The Key Click will only sound when the pager is in
audible mode. When the pager is operating on silent mode,
the Key Click is disabled.

Gold FLX? Similarly to the Key Click, you need to contact
your service provider to enable this optional feature.
